Sean Sokolowski is a Vice President and Lead Wealth Advisor at RMR Wealth Builders, Inc., where he works closely with individuals and families to bring clarity, confidence, and direction to their financial lives. In his role as Lead Wealth Advisor, Sean plays an important leadership role within the Personal Wealth team, supporting the development of advisors and helping shape training, service standards, and career progression across the group. Sean helps ensure both clients and advisors are equipped with the tools, understanding, and perspective needed to make informed financial decisions.
Sean has over two decades of experience in the financial services industry. He began his career at AllianceBernstein, where he spent eight years on the sales and distribution side of the business. During that time, he developed a deep understanding of capital markets, portfolio construction, behavioral finance, and practice management.
Following his time at AllianceBernstein, Sean spent almost ten years at Corient, where he continued to expand his experience working with advisors and clients while helping build service models and operational systems designed to enhance the client experience.
Throughout his career, Sean has contributed to building client segmentation and service frameworks, implementing CRM systems, and sharing insights at industry and non-industry events. Today, he also supports the development of emerging advisors within the firm, helping strengthen training initiatives and professional growth across the Personal Wealth team.
Sean finds the most meaning in helping clients understand what their financial picture truly looks like and what is possible. He is particularly focused on helping people gain confidence in their plans, take action on long-discussed goals, and experience the relief that comes from understanding not just where they are, but why they are on track.
Sean holds a Bachelor of Science in Finance from the University of Delaware and is an Investment Adviser Representative with a Series 66 registration.
Outside of work, Sean enjoys spending time with his wife, Janeen, their children Wyatt and Sadie, and their dog Jasper. He enjoys golfing, skiing, trips to the beach, and staying active with his family. Sean is also active in his local community, serving on the Lincroft Soccer Board and coaching his son’s travel baseball team, the Lincroft Lightning.
