Mason Murdock is an Associate Wealth Advisor at RMR Wealth Builders, Inc., where he supports advisors and clients through the financial planning process and helps deliver a high level of service across the Personal Wealth team. He is focused on building strong client relationships and assisting individuals and families as they work toward their financial goals.
Mason joined RMR Wealth through the firm’s internship program, where he gained hands-on exposure to multiple areas of the business, including trading, operations, retirement services, and the client review process. While completing his undergraduate studies, he continued working with the firm and transitioned into a full-time role, ultimately finding his professional home within the Personal Wealth group. This broad experience gave Mason a practical understanding of the advisory business and a strong foundation as he began his career.
He earned a bachelor’s degree in Economics from Montclair State University and has passed the Series 65 examination and holds a Life Insurance license. Mason has also completed supplemental training, including Microsoft Excel and eMoney Fundamentals certifications, to strengthen his technical skill set and better support clients and advisors.
Mason finds his work most rewarding when engaging with clients about their goals and helping them move closer to where they want to be financially. He values the continuous learning that comes with the advisory profession and is motivated by the opportunity to grow his knowledge while delivering thoughtful, reliable support.
Outside of RMR Wealth, Mason is actively involved in community service. He has volunteered with the Garden State Church, Furniture Assist, and the Human Needs Food Pantry, supporting initiatives that provide resources and assistance to families throughout New Jersey.
A former multi-sport athlete, Mason played collegiate football at Montclair State University, where he served as a two-year team captain at quarterback. He continues to enjoy staying active through fitness, golf, and grilling. Driven by perseverance and hard work, Mason brings the same discipline and commitment to his professional role, striving to contribute meaningfully to the client experience at RMR Wealth.
