Previously, James was a Director in the Public Finance group at Cain Brothers, a division of KeyBanc Capital Markets. There, he worked closely with hospitals, hospital systems, and higher education institutions to raise capital and provide advisory services, issuing more than $8 billion in bonds and derivatives throughout his career.
James’s impressive background also includes roles at Barclays, Lehman Brothers, and Bank of America. Before entering the financial sector, he honed his skills as a management and valuation consultant. James holds a Bachelor of Arts from Amherst College and a Master of Public Policy from the University of Chicago.
Outside of work, James enjoys life in Glen Ridge, NJ with his wife, Rebecca, their two children, Griffin and Marguerite, and their furry friends, Fletcher the dog and Trout the cat
