Edward Majtenyi is a founding partner of RMR Wealth Builders, Inc., where he also serves as a Wealth Manager. With over four decades of experience, Ed has been helping individuals, families, and households plan for, build, and protect their wealth since 1983.
In 1986, after several years in financial services, Ed and three partners launched RMR Wealth with a vision to create a firm rooted in integrity, personalized service, and long-term client relationships. Today, he continues to support clients with a hands-on approach to financial planning and wealth management, ensuring that every detail, from account structure to investment alignment, reflects their evolving goals.
Known for his thoroughness and responsiveness, Ed is deeply committed to helping clients make informed decisions across all aspects of their financial lives. He currently serves on the firm’s Board of Directors and has played a key role in shaping its strategic direction and culture.
Ed holds a Bachelor of Science degree from St. John’s University, where he earned All-American honors in fencing for four consecutive years. Earlier in his career, he also served as a Regional Director with Financial Network Investment Corporation and the ING Advisors Network.
Originally born in Bogotá, Colombia, Ed moved to the United States at age four and spent much of his life in Northern New Jersey before relocating to the Scottsdale, Arizona area in 1996. Outside of work, he enjoys traveling and is an avid golfer, always looking for his next challenging course.
