Douglas Roth is a founding partner of RMR Wealth Builders, Inc. With more than four decades of experience in the financial services industry, Doug has spent his career helping clients, ranging from professionals and business owners to retirees, navigate complex financial decisions with clarity and confidence.
Doug entered the wealth management industry in 1982 and, in 1983, co-founded what would eventually become RMR Wealth Builders. From the beginning, he helped establish the foundation of a firm built on integrity, personalized service, and long-term relationships.
In addition to his client-facing work, Doug played a key role in developing the investment infrastructure that drives RMR’s approach today. He helped implement the firm’s foundational trading systems and Investment Committee standards. As one of the original members of RMR’s Investment Committee, formally established in 2015, he was instrumental in shaping the structure and decision-making processes that underpin the firm’s disciplined investment strategy.
Throughout his tenure, Doug has embraced the evolution of the financial services industry—from the early days of commission-based investing to today’s sophisticated advisory platforms. His leadership has helped guide RMR Wealth through decades of growth, positioning the firm as a trusted partner for individuals, families, and businesses seeking comprehensive financial planning solutions.
Doug is an Investment Advisor Representative (IAR) and holds an Insurance Producer license in the State of New Jersey, with authorities in Life Insurance and Variable Annuities. He earned his bachelor’s degree from Bloomfield College.
