Dennis Karpenko, CFA is the Lead Investment Manager at RMR Wealth Builders, Inc. His duties include model construction & management for the firm’s model platform, trading & oversight of client portfolios, and building & distributing educational resources for advisors and clients. He works with the firm’s advisor group on appropriately allocating assets for individual clients as well as distributing insightful material to keep all parties up-to-date on the state of the market and new research.
Dennis joined RMR Wealth as a full-time employee in 2022 after having interned there since 2020. Since joining the firm, he has become an active participant in many of the firm’s Sub-Committees; Dennis takes on research and leadership roles for the Equity, Fixed Income, Stock Model, Defined Contribution, Digital Assets, and Alternatives Sub-Committees. Dennis is also a member of the firm’s Investment Committee and presents to a firm-wide audience regarding market commentary and investment research.
Dennis is a Chartered Financial Analyst® Charterholder. The CFA® Charter is a globally recognized designation that attests to success in a rigorous and comprehensive study program in the investment management and research industry and a commitment to ethical conduct. As a CFA Charterholder, he is held to a standard of loyalty, prudence, and care in all interactions with our clients and must act for the benefit of our clients and place our clients’ interests above his own.
Originally from Brooklyn, Dennis has spent most of his life living in New Jersey. He attended Seton Hall University from 2018 to 2021 where he majored in Finance and graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration. He is an avid basketball fan, rooting for his Seton Hall Pirates every season, and continues his education by working towards additional financial designations.
