Anthony Fanara

Anthony Fanara serves as Director of Business Development for RMR Wealth Builders’ Public Employee Program, a division dedicated to serving the unique financial planning needs of Police Officers, Firefighters, civil service union members, and their families.

Anthony co-founded the Public Employee Program with a mission to deliver trusted, values-driven financial education and wealth management to public sector professionals. Today, the program continues to grow under his leadership, helping thousands of union members and fraternal organizations gain financial clarity, security, and long-term confidence.

Prior to his work in financial services, Anthony spent 20 years as a member of the New York City Police Department. During his time on the force, he served as a three-time elected union delegate and was awarded The Police Combat Cross, the NYPD’s second-highest honor for heroism in the line of duty. He was also a first responder on 9/11, serving in the rescue and recovery efforts at Ground Zero.

Anthony’s first-hand understanding of the public service profession informs his approach to financial planning, built on respect, integrity, and a deep commitment to those who serve their communities.

He and his wife Dorothy reside on Long Island and are proud parents of two grown children.
