Alexander Salton, CFP®, CRPS®

Alex Salton joined RMR Wealth Builders, Inc. in November 2023, bringing over 15 years of experience in the financial services industry. Prior to joining RMR Wealth, Alex served as a financial advisor at the Retirement Plan Consulting Group in Hauppauge, NY, where he worked closely with plan sponsors and their employees to build successful retirement programs. His areas of focus included investment fiduciary support, ERISA compliance education, contract negotiation, participant education, and personal financial planning.

Alex began his career in 2008 at The Vanguard Group on the retirement plan services team. He later held roles at Legg Mason Global Asset Management, where he supported advisors and recordkeeping platforms within the defined contribution space.

A graduate of Haverford College with a degree in Economics, Alex transitioned into advisory services to develop deeper relationships with clients and provide more personalized financial guidance. He holds the CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER® designation and the Chartered Retirement Plans Specialist™ (CRPS®) credential.

Originally from New York City and raised in Nyack, NY, Alex is an avid sports enthusiast with a passion for squash, tennis, golf, and snowboarding. He is an active member of the New York Athletic Club, where he volunteers as Squash Chairman to help grow the sport both locally and nationally. He currently resides on the Upper West Side of Manhattan with his wife, Elise, and their dog, Lucy.
