Halloween Candy and Costumes

RMR celebrated the holidays in style this quarter, spreading spirit and smiles within their community. On Halloween, RMR kept with its tradition and visited St. Frances De Chantal and St. Raymond’s schools in Bronx, New York. This year, we came to the classrooms equipped with proton packs and candy! RMR’s ghostbuster costumes were a huge hit, as were the goodies they passed out. Ghostbusters Gabby and Alyssa made slime at St. Raymond’s and led the Halloween Parade at St. Frances De Chantal. It is always a good time spreading spooky spirit at these schools!

Thanksgiving Tradition

Once the pumpkins and ghosts faded away, Thanksgiving season rolled around. RMR delivers cans to St. Raymond’s food drive every year at Thanksgiving. This year, we gave cans to St. Raymond’s and St. Frances De Chantal’s food drives to celebrate the giving season. We filled five carts full of cans to donate to the drive and attended the mass. RMR has enjoyed building relationships with these two communities over the years, hosting ice creams socials, visiting classrooms and participating in food drives. We appreciate our time with these children and communities, and hope to participate more in the coming year.

Going Green

RMR has been proud to support various organizations this past quarter, including The East Coast Greenway Alliance. Our partner Ed Majtenyi participated in The East Coast Greenway’s annual bike ride this year. The East Coast Greenway is the country’s longest connected biking and walking route; it connects 15 states from Maine to Florida, stretching over 3,000 miles long. East Coast Greenway’s mission is to partner with local, state and national agencies to promote upkeep of and access to a safe, city-connecting greenway. Ed completed this year’s trip from Wilmington, North Carolina to Savannah, Georgia. We admire Ed’s dedication to this sustainable solution for travel, public health and civic engagement. Congratulations, Ed!

RMR Family Additions

We can’t forget to include the new RMR family members in our recap of Q4 2018. There were some great new additions to our team this fall. Our intern this semester was Aiden Wright. Aiden, a Montclair State University student, majors in Economics and minors in Business and Computer Science. He also plays on Montclair’s Lacrosse team. Aiden hopes to work in an analytical position for a financial services company after he graduates next December. Additionally, Aiden is studying to take his Level 1 Certified Financial Analysis Exam in June.

It is always exciting when we bring new people aboard, and Aiden has been a wonderful addition to the team this semester. We have had such success with the internship program, as many of our current employees have come through it. We are excited for Aiden’s growth and future successes!

RMR Wrap Up
